MATCH PREVIEW: Millonarios – Independiente Santa Fe

It’s a must-win match for Millonarios. The city rival is currently in first place with 7 points and has more goal differences than the Ambassadors. It’s important to remind the readers that the first place in each group qualifies to the playoffs and the best three of the five second-placed teams also goes through. It’s best to qualify as the first-place team in Group B to avoid any last-minute disappointment.

Millonarios faced Santa Fe as the away team in Metropolitano Techo, and the match ended 1-1. These two teams will meet again, but this time around, Millonarios is the home team, and the game will take in El Campin. The Ambassadors have scored four goals and conceded twice. Angie Castañeda has scored three of the team’s goals. Lina Gomez scored the other goal against this same rival.
