The last time Millonarios faced Atletico Huila in Bogotá, was on April 28 of 2018 when the victory was for the locals with a goal from outside the box of Henry Rojas at the 73rd minute of the match. That day the Ambassadors dominated the game against a team that was already qualified for the playoffs. Probably the fans will remember that day, as the last time the team faced in an official match, Millonarios historic player, Mayer Candelo.
The Ambassadors arrive at the match near the top of the table, while Huila is at the bottom of the table with only three points. Jorge Luis Pinto’s team has shown several improvements so far this season and expects the team to keep improving their performance and understanding his tactics.
There are some minor changes expected in the starting eleven, due to the physical fatigue presented in Duque and Payares. Carrillo and Rambal are the ones that will probably replace them. Hopefully, the manager will bring Juan Camilo García to the bench, as a reward to his outstanding performance this week in the League Cup.
